Welcome to my blog where I talk about Ed Tech, Instructional Design, and other things that make me happy. Thank you for stopping by!
My name is Priscilla and I am a technologist with experiences in FinTech, IoT, and Education. I love combining my background in Software Engineering with interests in Instructional Design to build educational products that improve people’s lives.
I am passionate about diversity and inclusion, focusing in recent years on increasing diversity in America’s technology sector. I am actively involved in educational initiatives that strive to provide a technical education and career opportunities for students. I also volunteered my time at university hackathons across the nation, where I mentor aspiring engineers on how to build the technologies of tomorrow.
I graduate with a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Columbia University and am currently working towards my M.Ed. in Learning Design & Technology at the University of Hawaii- Manoa. I am the recipient of the Gary Lin Fellowship at the East-West Center.
I absolutely love sharing my experiences and teaching technical workshops to students all over the world. My most popular workshops include Intro to Github and Why Financial Technology Matters.
